SPRINGWATER TWP., Ont. — Police combed 100 acres of woods near Barrie, Ont., on Wednesday, trying to solve the disappearance of a Toronto girl almost 30 years ago. On July 30, 1985, Nicole Morin, 8, left her apartment to go swimming with a friend.
