Driver gets away after police car chase through Barrie

An officer on patrol watched the car make an illegal U-turn at Bayfield and Grove streets at 11:40 a.m. The officer activated his emergency lights to stop the car. A passenger got out and ran away, but the car then sped up and drove away.
